User Settings

The settings window is where you change how the game and this UI behave. A column of pages stands at the left, and the options of the chosen page stand at the right. Each option is a row with its name and its control: a box to tick, a list to open, a slider, or a button.

Options of the same kind are grouped under a heading. The options you see are the ones this client offers.

User Settings, framerate-list
The list that opens under Max Framerate. The rate in force, 60 FPS, is ticked, and a bar stands beside the list because there are more rates than it shows.
User Settings, graphics
The Graphics page, with the screen and frame rate options under Display and the drawing options under Detail. It has lists for the resolution, the frame rate and the particles, and a slider for brightness.
User Settings, input
The Input page. It begins with what the scroll wheel does, then the two buttons for default keys, then every command under a heading, each with the key that runs it or the word Unbound.
User Settings, interface
The Interface page, with the UI scale and the options for this UI's panels under Panels, and three options for single windows under Windows.
User Settings, options
The Options page, which holds game options such as Always Run, Block War on Pets and Legacy Targeting, under the headings Movement, Combat and targeting, Mouse and System.
User Settings, options-foot
The Options page wheeled down to its foot, where Mouse and System end with the language, the disk cache, the journal, Write a log for bug reports and Reset Settings.
User Settings, overhead
The Overhead Text page, with the names shown over people and corpses, the speech shown over heads, and the settings for the handles that name what lies about.
User Settings, sound
The Sound page, with a box to tick and a slider for the master volume, the effects and the music, and a box for footsteps.
User Settings, words
The Filters page, with the obscenity filter and the two ignore lists. Each list has its own switch, with Add By Target and Add From Chat under it, and the people on the list under those.
User Settings, words-recent
The list that opens under Add From Chat, naming the people who spoke in channel chat a little while ago, newest first. A bar stands beside it because there are more names than it shows.
